• 1 instructor/instructor assistant : 4 student freedivers ratio. Bottom Dwellers offers a very small class ratio to maximize the experience of its students and allow for less time between dives during its open water sessions. (if this ratio changes for a specific course it will be noted and price adjusted accordingly)

• Certification Card (Upon Full Completion of PFI Freediver Level Course)

Freediving Gear Requirements

• Full Wetsuit (5-7mm for cold-water locations, with a strong recommendation of a 7mm freediving suit or at a minimum 5mm open-cell freediving suit. Open water sessions are long and the cold can put a affect your performance and experience in the course)
• Mask & Snorkel
• Weight-Belt and weights
• Fins
• Timing device or Dive Computer

Schedule

Friday:
     Class room: Atrium Convertible @ Esquimalt Recreation Centre - 6pm-9pm

Saturday:
     Class room: Atrium Concertible @ Esquimalt Recreation Centre - 8am-11am
     Confined Water Sessions: Esuimalt Pool - 12pm-530 pm

Sunday:
     Open Water Sessions - Willis Pt. Dive site (across from 7441 Mark Ln.) - 8am @ Parking
     Two seperate 2.5 hour Open Water Line Dive sessions throughout the day with a break for lunch and to warm up. Day timing will vary on conditions and lunch break.
     Rough Schedule: 8am @ parking
                              Open Water session 1: 9 am in water - 1130 am
                              Open Water Session 2 : 1pm-3:30 pm
