Equipment Requirements

You do not need freediving specific equipment for this class, though it is preferred. Surf or SCUBA gear is acceptable. 

Some equipment may be rented or purchased from Coral Edge Adventures or local dive shop.

 

Required Equipment

·         Mask: Prober diving mask, preferably low volume mask

·         Fins: Good fins; preferably long blade fins (Not Snorkeling fins)

·         Snorkel: Best ones are going to be the simple ones

·         Wetsuit with gloves, hood, and socks:

• 5mm-7mm suit is highly recommended open water sessions. 
• Good freediving suit with attached hood is perfect. If your hood is not attached please bring a separate one.

·         Weights and Weight belt: Have a rubber weight belt, weights will be available for use

 ·         Digital Timing devise like a timed watch or a freedive computer.

Pool Work: Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center from 7am to Noon

Classroom: Coral Edge Adventures from Noon to 4pm

Pool Work: Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center 9am till Noon
