Equipment Requirements
You do not need the gear to be Freedive specific for this level. Surf, scuba, snorkel gear is fine. You can buy freedive specific gear or rent scuba style gear from Pacific pro Dive (Big Animal Adventures) with stores in Courteney and Campbell River.
- Mask, fins and snorkel: Preferably low volume mask and long blade fins.
- Wetsuit with gloves and boots - 5mm-7mm freediving suit is required for pool and ocean sessions. Good freediving suit with attached hood is perfect. If your hood is not attached please bring a separate one.
- Weights and weight belt - Having a rubber weight belt with an assortment of smaller weights to adjust for proper buoyancy. Most people will need 10-15lbs
- Digital Timing devise like a timed watch or a freedive computer.

- open water is held at McIver lake located off McIver Lake Road (just past Elk Falls)
Schedule
Day 1:
- Classroom 2-5pm
- Dinner break and travel to pool 5-7pm
- Pool session 7-9pm
Day 2:
- Pool session 8-10:30am
- Lunch and travel to classroom 10:30-12pm
- Classroom 12-3pm
- Open Water 4-7pm

Any hotel that is in Campbell River will be no more then 10-20min from any of the course locations.
