Equipment Requirements

• Mask (low volume, freediving specific recommended)
• Snorkel (basic “J” snorkel recommended)
• Fins (we have DiveR freediving fins available for use during the class; number of each size limited - first come, first serve)
• Full wetsuit (3mm open cell "freediving" or "spearfishing" style recommended)
• Rubber weight belt and small number weights (1 or 2 lb increments recommended)
• Timing device or Freediving Computer (or SCUBA computer with Freediving mode)

Classroom location is dependent on class size (typically in the downtown area or central Oahu). Water locations will be weather dependent to minimize travel times during the class. You will receive an email the week of the class with more information. Diving sessions are generally conducted on the South shore or the West shore.
